In a recent political survey conducted by Agni News, the performance of the Tamil Nadu government led by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin received mixed but notable feedback. The survey also predicts a sweeping lead for the DMK alliance, which is expected to win 164 seats if Tamil Nadu Assembly elections were conducted today. In contrast, the AIADMK alliance may secure just 70 seats, according to responses from 21,150 participants.

This projection is significant, especially as the same survey group accurately forecasted the DMK's performance in the 2019 and 2024 Lok Sabha elections, where the party swept 39 seats.
