Tamil Nadu: Motorbike racing turns fatal for 5 youths as van hits them
Tirunelveli (TN), Jun 28: Five youths were killed when two motorcycles, on which they were racing, collided with a van at Melakadayanallur near here, police said on Monday, June 27.
The incident occurred last night when the van driver, on seeing the youths racing in the middle of the road, panicked and lost control over the vehicle, they said.

He was clueless about from which direction the bikes were coming, as they were weaving through the road at a high speed, police said.
Four youths were killed on the spot, while another succumbed to injuries at the hospital today, they said, adding 12 occupants of the van were also injured.
