Government employees in Tamil Nadu are set to enjoy a relatively holiday-packed March in 2026, with a total of nine days off during the month. The count includes regular weekend holidays as well as three additional government-notified holidays, offering scope for an extended break toward the third week of the month.

As per the standard government calendar, employees will have four Sunday holidays in March 2026. In addition, the second and fourth Saturdays will also be observed as holidays.
