Tamil Nadu Exams: Check Class 9-12 Half Yearly Exam Schedule, Dates

The Tamil Nadu School Education Department has released the much-anticipated schedule for the half-yearly examinations for students in classes 9 to 12.

Following the completion of quarterly exams in September, this new schedule is critical for students preparing for their board and term-end assessments.

According to the official notification, the half-yearly exams will commence on 9th December with the Tamil language exam. For higher secondary students, the English exam will follow on 10th December, and exams for major subjects, based on their chosen streams, will continue until 21st December.

For class 10 students, the schedule spans from 10th December to 23rd December. The Tamil language exam will be held on 10th December, followed by the optional language exam on 11th December. Mathematics is scheduled for 16th December, Science for 19th December, and Social Science for 23rd December.

This structured timetable provides students ample time to prepare for each subject. Schools across Tamil Nadu are expected to ensure that all arrangements are in place for the smooth conduct of the examinations. The department's announcement aims to help students plan their studies effectively as they gear up for these crucial exams.
