Tamil Nadu Class 10 & 12 Exams 2025: TN Board Exam Dates & How To Download Hall Tickets Online

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu will conduct SSLC (Class 10) exams from March 28 to April 15.

The HSE First Year (Class 11) exams are set to run from March 5 to 27, and the HSE Second Year (Class 12) exams will be conducted from March 3 to 25.

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu has officially released the admit cards for private candidates appearing for the 2025 Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. Candidates can now download their hall tickets directly from the DGE's official website at dge.tn.gov.in.

Steps to Download Tamil Nadu Board 2025 Hall Ticket:

• Visit the official website at dge.tn.gov.in
• Click on the "Admit Cards" section on the homepage
• A new login page will open
• Enter login credentials such as application number or permanent registration number and date of birth
• View and download the Tamil Nadu SSLC hall ticket
• Save and print a copy for future reference

Updated Exam Pattern for TN Class 12 Public Exams 2025:

The Tamil Nadu State Board has revised the exam structure for both private and regular candidates. Under the new format, each subject will carry either 70 or 90 marks instead of the previous 200-mark scheme.

Private Students Transitioning from the Old Syllabus:

Private candidates who had failed exams under the old syllabus must now retake the equivalent subject under the updated syllabus.

Practical Exam Requirements and Passing Criteria:

For subjects that include practical exams, students must meet the following criteria:

• Score at least 15 marks out of 70 in the written exam.
• Attend and complete the practical exam.
• Obtain a minimum of 35 marks overall, combining written, internal assessment, and practical exam scores.
• If a student clears the written exam but fails to attend the practical exam, they will need to reappear for the practical component separately.
