Tamil Actor Gautami Tadimalla Joins AIADMK After BJP Exit
Actress Gautami, who resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) months ago, joined the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) on Wednesday in Chennai, in the presence of the party's general secretary, Edappadi K Palaniswami, known as EPS.

Gautami met with AIADMK General Secretary and Leader of Opposition Edappadi Palaniswami at his office on Greenways Road and officially became a member of the Dravidian party.
After being a member of the BJP for 25 years, actor Gautami resigned from the saffron party in October last year, citing a lack of support from the party in times of crisis.
Similarly, Tamil actor and BJP leader Gayathri Raghuram, who was with the BJP for years, left the party due to differences with state president K Annamalai and joined the AIADMK last month.
