Jayalalithaa’s health: Superstar Rajinikanth, daughter Aishwarya Danush visit hospital

Chennai, Oct 17: Superstar Rajinikanth and his daughter Aishwarya Danush visited Apollo Hospital in Chennai to enquire about Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa's health on Sunday.

The 68-year-old AIADMK supremo is undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital at Greams Road, Chennai, since September 22.

According to reports it was a short visit and the Tamil film superstar did not even address the media, before leaving the hospital.

However, a photojournalist managed to take a picture of the icon and his daughter inside the car just seconds before they left the hospital.

Reports say Rajinikanth visited the hospital around 6.15 pm on Sunday and left the hospital around 6.40 am.

Hours later, the actors's spokesperson confirmed that Rajinikanth had visited the hospital. However, he did not share any detail.

A day after Jayalalithaa was admitted to the hospital, Thalaivar (as the actor is popularly known to his fans) tweeted, "I pray to God for the speedy recovery of our dear chief minister."
