Stalin to inaugurate Kalaignar Centenary Super Speciality Hospital

The inauguration of the Kalaignar Centenary Super Speciality hospital with the 1000 beds facility will be done today by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Mr. M.K. Stalin. This multi-speciality hospital in Guindy, Chennai has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 230 crores with specialists in 12 speciality units including Cardiology, Neurology, Cancer, Gastrointestinal, Renal Vascular, Brain Vascular Radiology etc.

The hospital also has state of the art facilities including Cardio-vascular Cathlab, Cerebrovascular Cathlabs, Intensive cardiac surgery, Intensive Anesthesiology and 15 well equipped Operation theatres. M.K. Stalin laid foundation for the hospital in March 2022 and now within 15 months the hospital is standing on the premises of King Institute of Preventive Medicine and Research with grandeur infrastructure.

The hospital has 7 floors with an extent of 6 lakh square feet. Kalaignar Centenary hospital is set to provide super speciality healthcare for the people of Tamil Nadu and is set to extend the healthcare facilities beyond its border.

The inauguration ceremony will start at 6.00 pm in the evening in the presence of Minister of Public works Mr. E.V. Velu and Minister of Health and family welfare Mr. Ma. Subramanian. Following the inauguration the Chief Minister will deliver the Presidential Address.

This auspicious occasion will be graced by Hon'ble Ministers, Hon'ble Mayor, Members of the Parliament, Members of the Legislative Assembly, Representatives of local bodies and distinguished guests. The gracious presence of gentlemen and women are expected.
