His wishes have won the hearts of the fans. One user said, "Wow..it's good to see #SuperstarRajinikanth appreciating #ThalapathyVijay 😍😍
Thank you sir..❤️"

The second user commented, "Thank you Super star Sir." Another netizen added, "Thank you for your greetings."

Last Sunday, Vijay's political party, TVK, held its inaugural conference in Villupuram, drawing a crowd of thousands. The Tamil actor addressed issues with both the DMK and the BJP, naming Kamaraj and Ambedkar as the guiding figures for his party while clarifying that he won't follow Periyar's atheistic views.

"Periyar is our primary ideological leader, but we won't adopt his atheism. We neither agree with nor believe in it. As former Chief Minister CN Annadurai said, we follow the principle of One Race, One God. However, we fully embrace Periyar's other ideals, including women's education, equality, and social justice politics," Vijay was quoted by The Print as saying at Vikravandi.

Vijay further indicated his opposition to the BJP and DMK without naming them directly. "By our stance alone, it's clear who our opponents are. During our party's launch, when we said 'all are born equal' from the Tirukkural, people understood who we were referring to. But our fight isn't only against divisive politics but also against corruption," he stated.

Taking a swipe at the Tamil Nadu government, he pointed out that corruption is often "masked by ideology and principles." Vijay also criticized what he termed as anti-welfare politics, saying, "Some argue, 'Give a person a fish, and they'll eat for a day; teach them to fish, and they'll eat for a lifetime.' We're not like that. Those who can fish should support themselves, but we'll provide for those who can't."
