Rajinikanth injured on sets of 2.0: Resumes shooting

Rajinikanth injured his right knee on Saturday as he slipped on a flight of stairs during the shoot of Shankar's 2.0

Superstar Rajinikanth gave his fans the shivers as news of him being injured on the sets of 2.0 spread like wildfire. Rajini, however, returned to the sets minutes after he was injured and resumed the night schedule shoot.

Rajinikanth injured his right knee on Saturday as he slipped on a flight of stairs during the shoot of Shankar's 2.0. He was rushed to a nearby hospital and treated immediately. After a few tests and treatment for the minor injury, the man went right back to the sets and resumed shooting for the night schedule. His team tweeted a video of the Superstar from the sets.

His health has been a cause of concern for his fans over the last 2 years and yesterday's incident gave fans the chills. It came as a relief for many that the actor only sustained a minor injury and resumed shooting immediately. Shankar's 2.0 starring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson is on the floors and is expected to be a Deepavali 2017 release.
