A woman has accused her husband, the Deputy Secretary of the DMK's youth wing and a lawyer, of assaulting her and forcing her to have sex with politicians, NDTV reported.

The 20-year-old woman has claimed that her husband Deivaseyal's job is to force 20-year-old girls to sleep with politicians". She has accused him of threatening to kill her family members if she ever takes the matter to law agencies.

My Husband Forced Me To Have Sex With Politicians Woman Accuses DMK Leader Of Assault

What Woman Claims?

"He assaulted me on the way to college... injured me and broke my phone. And he would say, 'if you complain nothing will happen as the police will support me'. Because of him I tried to take poison," NDTV quoted the woman as saying. "His job is to torture 20-year-old girls to sleep with politicians... no action is ever taken against him. When I complain he threatens to cut me into pieces. He tortured me in the car and told me to sleep with the men he pointed to... I can't even leave my home. I couldn't take my exams," the woman added.

She has directly appealed to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin to take action against her husband failing which she would kill herself.

According to another report, she had accused him of marrying her by concealing his first marriage and forced to tie the knot by issuing death threats to her family.

However, the accused has reportedly said that he had filed for divorce at the Arakkonam court before marrying the 20-year-old woman.

AIADMK Slams DMK

Meanwhile, AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami has slammed the Stalin government for not acting upon the complaint. He has alleged that the 20-year-old woman was married by the DMK leader after being kidnapped from her college.

Responding to the AIADMK chief's allegations, a senior official told The New Indian Express: "The woman had earlier come to Panapakkam police station claiming issues with her 'husband' Deivasayal. Both parties were engaged in a discussion and finally expressed desire to live together. Later, a revised version of events was submitted to the station and an FIR was registered," a senior officer said.

However, EPS has countered, claiming that an FIR was not filed until local MLA S Ravi lent her support to the victim. He compared the latest incident with 2019 Pollachi sex abuse case where many women were raped by nine members, recorded the sexual acts and extorted money using the clips.

In a scathing social media post, EPS directly challenged Chief Minister Stalin, who frequently references the Pollachi case: "For (DMK boss and Chief Minister MK) Stalin, who often cites Pollachi... Arakkonam is a sample of your chaotic rule. I transferred the Pollachi case to the CBI, but Stalin does everything to dilute this. Will this 'dummy dad' government act against the DMK functionary?"
