There are more important news than hacking of Dalit man, feels PMK chief Ramadoss
Chennai, March 15: Even as the state of Tamil Nadu is trying to come out of the shocking murder of a Dalit man in Udumalaipetti in broad daylight, PMK leader S Ramadoss on Monday (March 16) feels there are more important news events than that.
According to a News Minute article, a reporter in a press conference in Vellore in the poll-bound state asked Ramadoss about the rising instances of honour killings in Tamil Nadu, the latter got up as soon as he heard the question and asked the reporter to publish whatever he had said till then.
The tragic incident occurred on Sunday afternoon when the 21-year-old Dalit man named Sankar was allegedly hacked to death by his wife's family members. His wife Koushalya was also badly injured though she is stable now.
Her father surrendered in Nilakottai court later.
The victim's body was buried by the police on Monday after the local people protested.
