M K Stalin likely to be made DMK's working president

Despite several meetings there is no mention of Azhagiri's future role in DMK

DMK treasurer M K Stalin is all likely to appointed as the party's working president. Party sources suggested that the announcement is likely to be made during the DMK meet on December 20.

Failing health of party supremo Dr M Karunanidhi has come as a cause of concern and the party is making way for an official number two. Despite multiple meetings between Stalin, Azhagiri and Karunanidhi, no mention of Azhagiri's role in the party has come so far.

Stalin is expected to lead the party in Karunanidhi's unavailability due to ill health. Neither Stalin nor the party has officially announced the same.
