DMK Supremo M Karunanidhi hospitalised again
Karunanidhi was hospitalised two weeks ago after a case of infection
Chennai, Dec 15: Chief of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), Dr M Karuanidhi has been hospitalised yet again. He was discharged after spending a week in the hospital just eight days ago.
A press release from the hospital said that the leader was admitted due to lung and throat infection and is being treated for the same. The hospital said that he was stable.
Meanwhile, sources from the DMK said that the 92-year-old leader was taken to Kauvery hospital in Chennai after he developed a urinary tract infection. The leader is said to have faced difficulty in digesting food.

Karunanidhi had confined himself to his residence following a bout of infection. The DMK patriarch was hospitalised 2 weeks ago. The DMK had maintained that it was only for monitoring.
Failing health of the 92-year-old Dravidian leader has become a cause of concern for the party and cadres.
