Kalaimamani Awards: Winners List For 2021, 2022 & 2023

The Tamil Nadu government has announced the recipients of the Kalaimamani Awards, the state's highest honour for contributions to arts and culture, for the years 2021, 2022, and 2023. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will present the awards at a ceremony next month in Chennai.

Prominent awardees include actor Sai Pallavi and director-actor SJ Suryah (2021), actor Vikram Prabhu (2022), and music composer Anirudh Ravichander (2023).

In addition, the state announced its national-level awards. The Bharathiar Award for Literature will be conferred upon Dr. N Murugesa Pandian, the M.S. Subbulakshmi Award for Music to Padma Bhushan Dr. K.J. Yesudas, and the Balasaraswati Award for Dance to Padma Shri R. Muthukannammal.

All awardees will receive a three-sovereign gold medal. The national award winners will also receive a cash prize of ₹1 lakh.
