Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thogai (Thittam) Scheme: Check Your Application Status

Have not received the amount promised by the Tamil Nadu government under Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thittam scheme?

Under the scheme, the Tamil Nadu government provides Rs 1,000 monthly financial assistance scheme for women. It was rolled out in Kancheepuram, last Friday by Chief Minister M K Stalin.

A basic income programme, it is named after former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi and the state government has christened the assistance the "right" of women.

The government has identified as many as 1.06 crore women (1,06,50,000) as beneficiaries under the plan and the Rs 1,000 assistance is paid to beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer.

How To Register?
Eligible women should visit nearby ration shops. Each family can designate one female member on the ration card to avail the benefit. If a man is listed as the family head on the ration card, his wife will be eligible for the scheme. It's essential to note that only one beneficiary is permitted per family's ration card.

You will get two options: Search by Application ID or Registration Number
Enter details including your date of birth.
Click the 'get status' button.
