Jayalalithaa set to return, massive celebrations outside her house
Chennai, May 19: Celebrations began at the AIADMK headquarters and outside chief minister Jayalalithaa's residence here at Poes Garden as early trends indicated that Jayalalithaa was set to return to power in the state.
Jayalalithaa's supporters were seen celebrating even as AIADMK proved exit polls wrong making a historic comeback.

The AIADMK has fielded 227 candidates, leaving seven seats for its allies in the assembly elections. Jayalalithaa was leading in her Radhakrishnan Nagar constituency according to last updates.
Here are some images:
Meanwhile, celebrations ceased outside DMK headquarters as early trends showed the party trailing. Prime Minister Narendra Modi called Jayalalithaa and congratulated her on her victory and conveyed his best wishes to her.
Once the results are out giving AIADMK a clear win, Jayalalithaa is expected come out of her house and greet them, like she did in 2011 when the party wrested power from DMK
