Is BJP Set To Blossom In Tamil Nadu? This Pre Poll Survey Predicts Big For Saffron Party

Yet another opinion poll has shown a significant surge in support for the BJP in Tamil Nadu. The latest predictions suggest a notable breakthrough for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in a state where its presence has historically been limited.

Not one or two, the India TV-CNX Opinion Poll has predicted the NDA to win five seats in the state. More importantly, the BJP is likely to bag four seats on its own without having a major alliance.

Is BJP Set To Blossom In Tamil Nadu This Pre Poll Survey Predicts Big For Saffron Party

This forecast reflects a growing momentum for the BJP and its allies in Tamil Nadu, suggesting a reconfiguration of voter preferences. The BJP's enhanced performance in a state traditionally dominated by regional parties underscores its expanding influence and appeal across diverse socio-political contexts.

The DMK is expected to win 20 seats, while both the AIADMK and BJP are forecasted to secure four seats each. The Congress is anticipated to secure six seats, with the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) likely to claim one seat. Additionally, four seats are projected to be won by other parties.

Which are the 4 seats that are likely to go for the BJP?
The survey claims that the BJP is expected to ba Vellore, Ramanathapuram, Kanniyakumari and Coimbatore Lok Sabha seats.

Region Wise
Chennai, with a total of 6 seats, is predicted to see 5 seats going to the INDIA bloc and 1 to AIADMK. Moving to North Tamil Nadu, out of 7 seats, INDIA is expected to secure 6, leaving 1 for the NDA.

In West Tamil Nadu, comprising 9 seats, INDA may secure 6 seats, NDA 2, and AIADMK 1. South Tamil Nadu, with 10 seats, could witness INDIA winning 7, NDA 2, and AIADMK 1. Finally, the Cauvery Delta region, with 7 seats, might see INDIA winning 6 seats and AIADMK 1.

Of late, a few pollsters including Times Now-Matrize News survey had predicted that the BJP would do well in Tamil Nadu.

If we go by the recent surveys, BJP State President Annamalai's 'En Mann En Makkal' yatra and PM Modi's image are apparently working in favour of the party.
