How Many Seats Will Vijay's TVK Win In TN Elections Without AIADMK? Check Prashant Kishor's Predictions
Political strategist and Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor has expressed confidence in Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), the political party founded by actor Thalapathy Vijay, securing victory in Tamil Nadu without an alliance with AIADMK in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections in 2026. His remarks came during an interview with Thanthi TV, where he dismissed the notion that TVK needs AIADMK's support to make an impact in the upcoming Assembly Elections.
TVK To Go Solo
Kishor, who recently attended TVK's anniversary event, firmly stated that the party would contest the elections solo. "Right now, the understanding and commitment are to go alone. Yes, absolutely. I don't see that changing," he said. He also emphasized that his personal assessment supports this strategy and that before concluding his commitments in Bihar, he would not consider any deviation from this approach.

When asked about AIADMK's potential inclination towards an alliance with TVK to counter DMK's vote bank, Kishor dismissed the idea, likening it to speculations surrounding the Janata Dal (United) in Bihar. "This is the same thing that could be said about JD(U) in Bihar, and that's what we hear every day," he remarked.
Challenging the prevailing arithmetic of Tamil Nadu politics, Kishor rejected the assumption that past electoral data would dictate future outcomes. "The DMK alliance is at 47%. Arithmetic reality is based on what has happened in the past; it's not guaranteed that it will continue to be the same in the future," he argued.
How Many Seats Will Vijay's TVK Win If It Goes Alone?
Regarding his association with Thalapathy Vijay, Kishor confirmed their shared vision for political transformation. "He genuinely wants to bring change in Tamil Nadu and make use of my experience in the domain. Whatever value I could add, I'm more than happy to do my best. He's committed to helping me in Bihar as well. He has a large following in Bihar," Kishor revealed, surprising the interviewer.
Reiterating his confidence in TVK's prospects, Kishor asserted that Vijay's party stands a strong chance of securing the 118 seats required to form the government. "Yes. Keep this video and play it when the results come in Tamil Nadu," he said, backing his prediction with conviction.
With the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections approaching, Kishor's statements have stirred political discussions, adding further weight to the evolving narrative around Thalapathy Vijay's political journey.
