Who is this student with the international scholarship?

The name is Jayasree, daughter of a wage labourer. She said that her opportunity to study in the government model school and the teachers in the school were the reason for her achievement. After completing school, she was selected for the "Naan Mudhalvan" scheme which provides dynamic information on courses and skill development training.

She continued, "My father Perumal and mother Amala, both are wage labourers. I studied in government schools in 2 districts, Krishnagiri and Dharmapuri. I scored 96% in 12th exam and after selection in Naan Mudhalvan scheme I was getting special skill training. Through the scheme, now I am going to study Mechanical Engineering in Kun Shan University with a scholarship from Taiwan's Ministry of Education."

Jayasree comes from a very humble background. In this case, coming to Chennai and now going abroad is a big achievement, for which her education acted as a catalyst. She said, "I am the first graduate in my family. The reason for all of my accomplishments is my education. The only treasure that cannot be stolen is education. CM Stalin has brightened the life of many students by introducing many schemes such as Pudhumai Penn, Naan Mudhalvan, Illam Thedi Kalvi, SIRPI, Vanavil Mandram etc."

CM Stalin said, "Social justice will be achieved only when government school students enter into distinguished institutions. Equality will be established when everyone gets equal opportunities in society. The objective of the Dravidian model government is to establish social justice and equality. My request to the professors of NITs and IITs is to take care of the students coming from Tamil Nadu and guide them in the right path."
