DMK supremo Karunanidhi discharged from hospital
Kauveri hospital had issued a statement that Karunanidhi was admitted for optimisation of nutrition and hydration.
DMK's supremo Dr M Karunanidhi was discharged from Kauveri hospital in Chennai late Wednesday night. The former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu was admitted on December 1.

Kauveri hospital had issued a statement that Karunanidhi was admitted for optimisation of nutrition and hydration. The 92 year old leader was suffering from allergies since November and was being treated at home. M Karunanidhi had stopped appearing in public after illness confined him to his residence.
Despite being in the hospital, Karunanidhi had penned a condolence message to AIADMK leader Jayalalithaa on Tuesday. DMK had maintained that he was admitted for monitoring and purpose of tests. M Karunanidhi was discharged after being treated for a week in the hospital.
