In the Lok Sabha elections, the DMK-led alliance is optimistic about replicating its 2019 success in the state, while the BJP has intensified its campaign efforts after forming an alliance, aiming to make significant gains. These elections hold immense significance for the AIADMK as well, especially since it exited the BJP-led NDA in September last year. The state is witnessing intriguing contests on numerous seats, with several prominent leaders vying for victory.

As per the survey polls, the DMK along with the Congress are likely to bag the majority of the seats while the BJP is predicted to increase its vote share and possibly win a few seats.
This time, the BJP has put in a lot of effort on the ground and on social media to send out message to the voters that it is a serious player in the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited nine times before polling which is a first in the state's history.
