CPM Warns It May Reconsider Support To Vijay Government If AIADMK Joins TVK Alliance

The CPM has issued a strong warning to Chief Minister Vijay's TVK government, saying it may rethink its support if the AIADMK is brought into the ruling coalition in Tamil Nadu. The statement comes amid growing political speculation over possible alliance shifts in the state.

CPM Says AIADMK Entry Against Public Mandate

The Left party said the people of Tamil Nadu had voted against both the DMK and the AIADMK, and therefore including any faction of the AIADMK in the government would go against the mandate given by voters.

According to the CPM, the current political arrangement was backed with the expectation that TVK would offer an alternative style of governance in the state. The party also argued that bringing the AIADMK into the coalition would damage TVK's promise of transparent and clean administration.
