Chennai: Veteran Tamil Actor Delhi Ganesh No More
Veteran Tamil actor Delhi Ganesh passed away in Chennai on November 9 due to age-related health issues. He was 80. The news was confirmed by his son, Maha Devan, via social media. Ganesh began his acting career after serving a decade with the Indian Air Force, from 1964 to 1974.
Delhi Ganesh's funeral will be held at 10 am on Monday, 11 November.

Announcing his father's passing, his son wrote, "We deeply regret to inform that our father Dr Delhi Ganesh has passed away on 9th November 2024 at around 11 pm (sic)."
The actor's stage name, Delhi Ganesh, was given to him by filmmaker K Balachander, who offered him his first role in 1976 with 'Pattina Pravesam'.
Throughout his career, Delhi Ganesh featured in over 400 films across Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema.
Among his most acclaimed performances are those in 'Nayakan', 'Michael Madhana Kama Rajan', 'Sindhu Bhairavi', and 'Iruvar', among others.
