Temperatures Remain Above Normal

The RMC noted that maximum temperatures rose by up to 2°C at isolated places across Tamil Nadu during the past 24 hours. In many locations, temperatures were 2°C to 3°C above normal.

Madurai Airport recorded the state's highest maximum temperature at 40.8°C, followed by Chennai Airport (40.5°C) and Tiruttani (40.2°C).
