Chennai Power Cut On May 27: These Areas Will Be Hit By Power Supply

Several areas in Chennai will be hit by a power supply outage on Tuesday as the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGDECO) is carrying out maintenance work.

The electricity department is carrying out maintenance work between 9 am and 2 pm in parts of Kumananchavadi. Here are the affected areas:

Ambal Nagar
Poonamallee By pass Road
Parivakkam
BanaveeduThottam
Pidarithangal
Kolapancheryy

However, the power supply will resume if the maintenance work complete before the scheduled time.

Meanwhile, parts of Ambattur Industrial Estate were hit by power supply on Sunday. Normally on Sundays, the TANGDECO does not carry out maintenance work on Sundays.
