Chennai Power Cut On March 18: Here Are The Affected Areas

Parts of Tamil Nadu capital Chennai will be power supply on Tuesday, March 18.

As the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation is carrying out maintenance works, there will be power outages in Red Hills.

The electricity department says that the power cut will be between 9 am and 2 pm. However, if the maintenance work are completed early the supply will resume before the schedule time.

It is interesting to note that there have not been daily power cuts in Chennai for over a month despite the demand in power as the temperatures rise in the summer.
