Chennai Power Cut On Feb 21: List Of Affected Areas
Parts of Chennai will be hit by power supply on Friday, February 21. As the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation is carrying out maintenance work, there will be five-hour power cuts.
The electricity has planned the maintenance work between 9 am and 2 pm on Friday. Hence, people are asked to be prepared for power cuts in the following areas:

- Anna Nagar West
- Thiruvalleeswarar Nagar
- Anna Nagar West Extension (entire area)
- Thirumangalam
- N.V.N. Nagar
- CPWD Quarters (B, C & D Sector)
- 11th to 20th Main Road
- Emerald Apartments
- Metro Zone Apartments
However, the power supply will resume if the maintenance work is completed before the scheduled time.
Meanwhile, parts of SN Palayam in Vellore districts like Pappanaickenputhur, Vadavalli, Vedapatty, Veerakearalam, Telungupalayam, Velandipalayam, Saibabacolony, Selvapuram, Gandhinagar, Anna Nagar, Lakshmi Nagar areas were hit by power supply on Thursday.
