Chennai Power Cut On December 6: Here Are The Affected Areas

Power cut is back in Tamil Nadu's capital Chennai as the situation is returning to normalcy following massive rains.

On Friday, the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation is carrying out maintenance work in many areas due to which there will be a power outage.

Here is the list of affected areas:

BROADWAY :

• Moore Street
• Angappan(N) Street
• Erabalu Street
• Kachaliwarar A gragarm Street
• Mukar Nala Muthu Street
• Post Office Street
• Second Lane Beach
• Barma Bazaar
• Sathiya Nagar
• Sathiya Nagar B" Block
• Barma Bazaar
• Chennai Corporation Park
• Port Trust
• Army Quarters
• Indian Navy
• Army Mass
• RBI Quarters
• RBI Bank
• Navy Nagar

At least 20 areas in Chennai are being hit by power supply between 9 am and 2 pm. However, the power supply might resume if the works are completed before the scheduled time.
