Rain threatens to disrupt the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) versus Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) IPL 2024 final scheduled for Sunday evening at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

On Saturday, a sudden rain shower interrupted KKR's final practice session, raising concerns about potential rain interference during the match. The pressing question on every cricket fan's mind is whether the rain will affect the match.

The Regional Meteorological Centre's daily bulletin forecasts partly cloudy skies. The maximum temperature is expected to be between 39-40°C, with the minimum ranging from 29-30°C over the next 48 hours. The weather agency has not predicted rain for today or tomorrow.

However, a weather blogger mentioned that as Cyclone Remal approaches landfall in the Sundarbans this evening, North Tamil Nadu will continue to experience hot afternoons with maximum temperatures around 38-39°C. Isolated convective rains are possible in Chennai and its suburbs.

Considering the forecast, even if it rains, it is unlikely to significantly impact the match, and viewers can expect a full game.
