Burn His Bike, Close YouTube Channel: Madras High Court On Biker Vasan's Bail Plea

The Madras High Court on Thursday said that the bike of YouTuber TTF Vasan has to be burnt down while refusing to grant him bail.

The Kancheepuram police had arrested TTF Vasan after he got injured when his bike stunt on the Chennai-Bengaluru National Highway went wrong. A video capturing Vasan being thrown off a motorcycle and landing in the bushes had circulated widely on social media.

He lost control of the bike while attempting a wheelie.

Hearing his bail blea, the Madras High Court noted that since the YouTuber encouraged other young individuals to engage in reckless driving, his request for bail has been rejected. The judge stated, "This will serve as a lesson to him."

However, Vasan's lawyer told the court that he was injured and needed medical treatment from a private hospital. The court then directed the authorities to give medical treatment after examining the injuries.

On the other hand, government advocate Kishore Kumar stated that the biker has over 45 lakh followers and engages in dangerous bike races. He stated that Vasan rides and wears costly outfits. The vlogger makes the youngsters demand costly bikes from their parents.

Kumar further said that Vasan's deadly acts put others' lives at risk while appealing the court not to grant him bail.

Vasan and his friends were on a trip to Maharashtra on Sunday.

The incident had occurred when he with his friends was on a trip to Maharashtra. It happened near Baluchetty Chatram in Kancheepuram district and the cops had booked the case under the IPC sections of 279, 308 and 336 along with 184 and 188 of the Motor Vehicle Act.
