Big Relief To Farmers! Tamil Nadu CM Vijay Announces Cooperative Bank Crop Loan Waiver

Farmers across Tamil Nadu are set to gain financial relief after Chief Minister Vijay on Monday unveiled a cooperative bank crop loan waiver scheme, designed to ease mounting debts and support the state’s struggling agrarian sector.

Under the new plan, marginal farmers will see their cooperative bank crop loans fully cancelled for amounts up to Rs 50,000, while farmers with larger holdings will receive concessions of up to Rs 5,000 on existing cooperative bank borrowings.
