Upon receiving the threat, university officials swiftly notified the police, who launched a comprehensive investigation and deployed sniffer dogs to search the campus.

High Alert and Ongoing Investigation
The MIT campus has been placed on high alert as authorities conduct thorough searches to ensure the safety of students and staff. Precautionary measures have been implemented, and police are diligently working to resolve the situation. While a detailed search, including isolated and wooded areas of the campus, has been conducted, no suspicious items have been found so far.
This is not the first time MIT has faced a bomb threat. A similar incident was reported on March 5, which also turned out to be a false alarm. The Sithalapakkam police have registered a case regarding the recent bomb threat and are actively investigating to identify those responsible for the hoax message.
