After Spending Over 40 Days In Jail, YouTuber TTF Vasan Will Be Finally Out Of Prison

After over 40 days in jail, YouTuber TTF Vasan has been finally granted bail by the Madras High Court on Wednesday over the incident at Chennai-Vellore Highway where his bike stunt had gone wrong.

Vasan's representative, before Justice C V Karthikeyan, presented that the petitioner's bike license had been cancelled for 10 years, and he had spent over 40 days in custody. Given these circumstances, the counsel requested bail for the petitioner.

The police's counsel did not raise objections to the bail application. As a result, the judge granted the YouTube the bail.

The Kancheepuram police had arrested TTF Vasan after he got injured when his bike stunt on the Chennai-Bengaluru National Highway went wrong. A video capturing Vasan being thrown off a motorcycle and landing in the bushes had circulated widely on social media.

The incident had occurred when he with his friends was on a trip to Maharashtra on September 17. It happened near Baluchetty Chatram in Kancheepuram district and the cops had booked the case under the IPC sections of 279, 308 and 336 along with 184 and 188 of the Motor Vehicle Act.

His license has been revoked till October 4, 2033.
