United Breweries to have more flavours in Kingfisher Buzz
New Delhi, Oct 5: Beer maker United Breweries, which on Tuesday launched its malt-based beverage 'Kingfisher Buzz' in Delhi, would introduce more flavours in its ready-to-drink (RTD) product.
The company expects Kingfisher Buzz to have a pan India presence in next 12 to 18 months and is working on new flavours as well, said UBL Senior VP Marketing Samar Singh Sheikhawat.

"In next 12 to 18 months from now, Kingfisher Buzz would have pan-India presence," Sheikhawat said.
Presently, the company has introduced Kingfisher Buzz in selective markets of Mumbai, Pune, Goa and Bengaluru.
Kingfisher Buzz will be in direct competition with Bacardi Breezer, which is a market leader in the segment with around 95 per cent market share and comes in eight flavours.
"We believe that the RTD market would grow. Presently this is estimated to be around 2.5 million cases and is growing with single digit," Sheikhawat added.
Kingfisher Buzz is currently available in two flavours - berry and lychee.
