TVS Motor inks pact with Snapdeal to retail online

Chennai, Mar 16: Cashing in on the growing e-commerce platform, TVS Motors has entered a pact with online marketplace Snapdeal to retail its products.

Nine two-wheeler products from TVS Motor Company will be available on Snapdeal.com. Customers would be able to select model, colour and dealership of their choice on Snapdeal Motors platform, a company statement said.

"We are excited to partner with Snapdeal to expand our reach with online channel for our two-wheelers. With Snapdeal's extensive reach and a robust technology platform, we see immense value in our partnership", TVS Motor Company Vice-President (Sales and Services), JS Srinivasan said.

Snapdeal launched its Snapdeal Motors platform in November 2015. "Two-wheelers from TVS Motor Company, one of the most popular auto-manufacturers, is a great addition to our offerings in the automobiles category," Snapdeal Senior Vice-President, Partnerships and Strategic Initiatives, Tony Navin said.

"We were the first online marketplace in India to introduce this category and have built a dedicated Motors platform to provide an intuitive and seamless buying experience," he said.
