Mumbai, Nov 11 The bitter boardroom squabble in the Tata Group took a new turn as one of the independent directors in Tata Chemicals, Bhaskar Bhat, resigned from his post on Friday, said reports.
According to reports, the independent directors of the Tata Chemicals had backed the sacked Tata Sons' chairman Cyrus Mistry on Thursday.

The independent directors of Tata Chemicals had reposed their support and confidence in Mistry as the chairman of Tata Chemicals.
Tata sons had earlier removed Mistry as the chair man of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and nominated Ishaat Hussain as its chairman. Tata sons holds 73.3% stake in TCS.
Apart from Tata Chemicals, the independent directors of Indian Hotels Company Limited's (IHCL) have also come out in support of Mistry.
