Snapdeal gets new chief strategy officer

New Delhi, July 6: Online marketplace Snapdeal has appointed Govind Rajan as the chief strategy officer, effective from August 2015, a company statement said here on Monday.

Prior to his appointment at Snapdeal, Govind Rajan served as chief marketing officer (business-to-consumer) at Bharti Airtel.

Govind Rajan has a Master's in International Business from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras.
