on Wednesday, April 23 regretted a tweet praising

's son Rohan Murthy.

Earlier Shaw, who is also a member of Infosys board, praised Rohan for his one presentation in front of the board members of the IT giant.

Shaw had tweeted, "At recent Infy Board Meeting I was most impressed by Rohan Murthy's brilliant tech loaded presentation which will enormously benefit Infy (sic)."

The Biocon chairman, however, faced tremendous criticism on the micro-blogging site Twitter for disclosing board meeting details on social platform.

Citing criticism, Shaw on Wednesday tweeted, "I apologize for this inadvertant and improper tweet on Rohan Murty - I agree it was incorrect to do so."
