Kalyan Jewellers ropes in Sonam Kapoor as new brand ambassador

New Delhi, Mar 14: Jewellery retail chain Kalyan Jewellers has roped in Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor as its new national brand ambassador.

"Sonam Kapoor will endorse Kalyan's exquisite range of gold and diamond jewellery. Sonam Kapoor is currently shooting the new television commercial of the brand, that is expected to go on air by the end of the month, Kalyan Jewellers said in a statement.

"She will also feature in Kalyan's customer engagement programmes across its showrooms, not just in India but also in West Asia where it has a strong presence," it added.

"Sonam's sense of fashion and style has resonated with people from across the country and her huge popularity as a fashion icon reflects Kalyan Jewellers’ own growth trajectory and positioning in the minds of our customers," CMD of Kalyan Jewellers T S Kalyanaraman said.

Sonam Kapoor joins the group of Kalyan brand ambassadors including Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Prabhu, Shivaraj Kumar and Manju Warrier. The company has a network of 86 exclusive showrooms in India and West Asia.
