Budget 2025: India To Create 5 Indigenous Small Nuclear Reactors By 2033

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, in her eighth consecutive budget presentation on February 1, 2025, unveiled a landmark initiative to boost India's energy sector. Introducing a nuclear energy mission with an allocation of INR 20,000 crore, Sitharaman outlined a comprehensive plan aimed at advancing the country's research and development capabilities.
