Medha Patkar: Arvind Kejriwal best person to become the PM

Bhopal, Mar 11: While the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) strongly feels that its leader Arvind Kejriwal is the right person for the top job, social activist and AAP candidate from Mumbai North-East seat Medha Patkar said that AAP has not declared him as the prime ministerial candidate.

"Kejriwal is the best person for the post of the prime ministerial candidate and has all the qualities for the coveted post," she said. But AAP has not declared him as the prime ministerial candidate as it is unconstitutional to do so before Lok Sabha polls, Patkar said.

Patkar even termed BJP's declaration of Narendra Modi as its PM candidate as 'unconstitutional.'

She said that people of India wanted a change and they looked at AAP as a serious option.

Arvind Kejriwal will be in Maharastra this week for the party's election campaign. The AAP said that he will be travelling via the autorickshaws and the local trains like a common man.
