The Karnataka Police waited for more than four months to get Bhatkal's custody. They will have Bhatkal's custody till Jan 28.

on the other hand, Bhatkal and his aide Asadullah Akhtar had filed a plea, in which they had said that there was a threat to their lives in the Tihar Jail.
