X User Accuses Rapido Of Enabling Sexual Predators, Shares Friend's Horrifying Assault In Bengaluru

A user on the micro-blogging platform 'X' (formerly Twitter) recently recounted a distressing episode involving his female friend, who faced sexual assault by a Rapido auto-rickshaw driver in Bengaluru. @JustAnkurBagchi, the user, took to social media to share the harrowing incident, detailing how the woman encountered not only inappropriate touching but also was forcibly ejected from the moving auto when she resisted.

In a viral post, @JustAnkurBagchi cautioned others, stating, "Rapido enables sexual predators. Do not use Rapido." The user went on to narrate the appalling incident, revealing, "One of my friends got sexually assaulted last night by a @rapidobikeapp auto driver. She was touched inappropriately and when she pushed back, she was thrown out of a moving auto." Expressing dismay, the user highlighted that despite his friend filing a complaint with Rapido, the company's response was merely an apology, lacking any details about the rickshaw driver.

Expressing concern for his friend's well-being, the user concluded the post by seeking help in identifying the perpetrator: "We're working on sorting this out, but in the meantime, she needs medical care. If you have any leads on how we can find this guy, ping me." Additionally, the user cautioned against women using the Rapido app.
