A security breach occurred at Bengaluru's Manekshaw Parade Ground during the 75th Republic Day celebrations. An individual reportedly threw placards and sheets on the ground and towards the CM's gallery, protesting the alleged lack of recruitment in government jobs, specifically citing the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC).

News agency PTI reported, "During the Republic Day celebrations in Karnataka's capital Bengaluru earlier today, a man broke the security cordon. More details are awaited."
Bengaluru City Police Commissioner B Dayanand, while addressing the Republic Day Parade preparations, emphasized the deployment of a substantial contingent of officers to ensure security. The team comprised six to nine Deputy Commissioners of Police, 16 Assistant Commissioners of Police, 46 Police Inspectors, 100 Sub-Inspectors, and 75 Assistant Sub-Inspectors, totaling 1,000 police officials safeguarding the Parade Ground surroundings.
