Was Pavithra Gowda Allowed To Do Makeup In Custody? Senior Sub-Inspector Faces Inquiry
In a controversial incident, a senior sub-inspector has been issued a notice and asked to explain after actress Pavithra Gowda, an accused in Renuka Swamy murder case, was seen wearing makeup while coming out of her house after a mahazar (panchnama).
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, S Girish, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), said, "The visuals of Pavithra Gowda coming out of her house after the mahazar with makeup on caught our attention. We have issued a notice to the sub-inspector and asked him to submit an explanation regarding this."

However, police officials reportedly informed their seniors that Pavithra Gowda might have put on the makeup when she was allowed to go to the washroom. They also claimed that she was carrying her makeup kit with her during the police custody.
The video of Pavithra Gowda smiling after the mahazar at her Bengaluru residence has recently gone viral, sparking outrage.
Pavithra Gowda is the alleged instigator of the brutal murder of Renukaswamy, the A1 accused in the case. Renukaswamy's body was discovered near a stormwater drain next to an apartment in Sumanahalli on June 9. The post-mortem report concluded that Renukaswamy died due to shock and hemorrhage. As per the investigation so far, Renukaswamy was subjected to electric shocks as part of the torture, which resulted in 39 injuries, including seven burns.
