B'lore techie qualifies for UK photography competition

Indian qualifies for UK competition
Bangalore, Aug 7: Bangalore based techie Raviprakash S S is a proud man. The techie who also has been dabbling in photography, is elated as one of his clicks has been chosen to be judged at the 50th Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition this year.

The competition has for the first time introduced the People's Choice award where people get to vote for the best photograph and Raviprakash's picture has qualified for the final round.

Raviprakash has always been in the midst of nature (he is from Chikmanglur) and everything that caught his attention was frozen in a picture frame.

The competition provides a platform for photographers to showcase the best of nature through photography. The competition is co-owned by two UK institutions- The Natural History Museum and BBC Worldwide.

The winning images will appear on the competition's website as well as BBC Wildlife Magazine and its other publications.

Raviprakash is the only Indian to reach the final round and you can help him win the contest by casting your vote. To cast your vote click here.
