Bangalore, March 26: For those who blame the authorities for failing to spot MH370, the Malaysian Airlines flight which went missing soon after taking off from Kuala Lumpur on March 8, the video here provides the answer. The footage here shows a search vessel searching the missing flight in the middle of an extremely rough Indian Ocean. Shortly after this video was taken, the search efforts were called up due to the rough conditions. The operation resumed after some time.

The Indian Ocean has a mean depth of nearly 3,890 metres (the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa is only 828 metres) which tells how much difficult the challenge is.

The Beijing-bound plane had 239 people on board, mostly from China. Over 25 countries searched it over two weeks across the South and South-east Asia and several theories made rounds about the possible reason for its disappearance.

On March 24, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak officially declared that satellite experts concluded from the available evidence that the flight had crashed into southern Indian Ocean and there were no survivors.
