New Delhi, April 16: After a 56-day hiatus, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi arrived at his 12 -Tughlak lane residence on Thursday [Rahul Gandhi is back from sabbatical; suspense looms over places he visited]

Rahul's return was widely anticipated by everybody. His mother and Congress President Sonia Gandhi reached his residence before his arrival.

According to PTI reports, Rahul arrived in Delhi at 11.15 am on a Thai Airways plane from Bangkok.

However, it did not take a long time for #rahulreturns to trend on Twitter and it took lesser than that for Twitterattis to make a wise crack about the Gandhi scion.

Rahul Gandhi is likely to address a Congress rally on Sunday where he will be addressing farmer issues. BJP however hit out at Rahul and said: "which farmer is Rahul Gandhi going to talk about? Did he do a case study on the farmers in Bangkok."
