Sakra Hospital Road Closure: BBMP White-Topping Project Shuts Road for 2 Months

The Sakra Hospital Road in Bengaluru's Bellandur will remain closed for the next few months as the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) begins white-topping work. This road, a key route with heavy traffic, connects two major IT parks and frequently experiences waterlogging.

To manage the impact on commuters, Bengaluru Traffic Police have provided alternative routes for regular travelers.

• Towards Devarabisanahalli and Bellandur from Yemalur: Take Old Airport Road via Yemalur Junction, continue to Marathahalli Bridge, Kadubeesanahalli Bridge, and follow the Outer Ring Road.
• From Yemalur to Kadubeesanahalli and Devarabisanahalli: Turn left at Yamalur Kodi, proceed via Old Airport Road and Yamalur Junction to Yamalur Village, and then take Kariyammana Agrahara Road towards Kadubeesanahalli and Devarabisanahalli.
• From Yemalur to Outer Ring Road: Take a right at Yamalur Kodi and continue via Bellandur Kodi, Old Airport Road, Yemalur Junction, and Yemalur Village to reach the Outer Ring Road through Bellandur Village Road.
• Towards the City from Devarabisanahalli and Bellandur: Turn left onto the Outer Ring Road, proceed to Kadubeesanahalli Bridge, cross Marathahalli Bridge, and head towards the city via Yemalur Junction.
• Towards the City from Kadubeesanahalli and Devarabisanahalli: Turn right at Kariyammana Agrahara, go to Yamalur Kodi, continue through Yemalur Village, join Old Airport Road, and head towards the city.
• From Outer Ring Road to the City: Take a left at Bellandur Kodi, reach Yemalur Kodi, and at Yemalur Junction, turn left to join Old Airport Road for the city route.
